2026 marks the 10th year that Black History Month Music Tours has been honouring Black Canadian musicians who are making history. It is also the 10th consecutive year that TD Bank Group, through the TD Ready Commitment, has been our sole Presenting Sponsor enabling us to engage with audiences in Toronto and Halifax and occasionally in other provinces.

This year, we presented two award-winning musicians whose music speaks to heritage, migration, memory, belonging and the power of song. Roots and reggae singer songwriter Jah’Mila and singer, songwriter and radio personality Julian Taylor.

We are deeply grateful. Grateful to The Canadian Museum of Immigration in Halifax for co-presenting Celebrations and Revelations every year for the past 10 years. And grateful to Massey Hall, our Toronto partner this year. It is significant that this year, Massey Hall co-presented this concert, since Julian Taylor has just completed his year as part of the inaugural Artist- in- Residence program launched by Massey Hall and Roy Thomson Hall.
